Jim Richardson

Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Jim was surrounded by conversations about business from an early age.

So as an award-winning young designer, it seemed natural for him to start his own business when he was only 25. His ambition was to build a leading creative agency and within two years Sumo had attracted clients from across Europe and a flattering list of awards.

Fifteen years later, Sumo continues to thrive, working with a broad range of organisations to help them to stand out in crowded marketplaces.

Jim works primarily on brand development. Working with business leaders to find what makes their organisations special, and devising brand strategies to help them to stand out from the crowd.

He has spoken about branding at conferences around the world and has been recognised by industry awards and publications.

Outside of Sumo, Jim volunteers with a local children’s cancer charity and fundraises for them by taking on extreme challenges.
