The Grand Tour is a brilliant initiative which will bring a collection of priceless paintings to the streets of York this summer. The artworks from The National Gallery and York Art Gallery will decorate street corners and hang on historic buildings with the aim of encouraging people to visit the galleries to see the real thing.
Sumo have developed the marketing materials for the Grand Tour in York, working within the guidelines of The National Gallery. Our work included a website for the initiative, with an interactive map, downloadable maps and audio tours and a Flickr group which invites members of the public to share their pictures of The Grand Tour in York.
