The Fresh Awards are a celebration of the creativity in UK advertising, design and digital agencies. Over the past seven years, Sumo have won over thirty of these prestigious awards and the 2010 cermony took place at the Hilton Manchester on September 30th.
Sumo picked up a gold award for brand identity and a silver award for typography for 'Democracy', the crowd sourced exhibition that we produced for the North East Design Festival in 2009.
Our exhibition poster for the 'Pinhole' photography exhibition was awarded a silver award in the poster category and the Natural History Museum Ice Rink advertising campaign was given a bronze in the best use of illustration category.
Jim Richardson, Managing Director of Sumo said, 'these awards are a pat on the back for our team and an acknowledgement that our work is up there with the best in the UK. We are delighted to be adding another four awards to our bookshelves.'
