Sumo speak at Gulf Arts Summit

Now in it's third year, the Gulf Arts and Cultural Leaders Meeting is an international summit which aims to encourage collaboration and innovation across the Gulf region.

Hosted by the Qatar Museums Authority, the event brought together museums, galleries and arts organisations from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Dubai.

Whilst in Doha, Jim also took the chance to visit the Museum of islamic Art and Mathaf: The Arab Museum of Modern Art two of the exciting new cultural venues which have recently opened in Qatar.

Jim Richardson said, 'Qatar is building a world-class capital, with an ambitious cultural programme which includes new museums, theatres and arts programmes on a scale unimaginable in the West.'

'Doha has a real buzz, and I am keen for Sumo to play a role in the development of Qatar in to a truely international cultural hub'.
