Museum Branding win for Sumo

Sumo have been appointed to develop the branding for the new museum service formed through the merger of Ipswich Museums Service and Colchester Museums Service following a credentials tender.

Colchester and Ipswich Museums span seven sites across Ipswich in Suffolk and Colchester in Essex. Their diverse collection includes world-class Roman archaeological finds, hands on natural history displays and beautiful historic houses.

Jim Richardson, Managing Director at Sumo said, “The coming together of the two museum services is an exciting branding challenge, and provides the new organisation with the opportunity to seamlessly cross-promote their venues to new and existing audiences”.

The new brand will be rolled out across all aspects of the museum service, including a new website which Sumo have also been appointed to develop.
