Exquisite Corpse is a new exhibition which Sumo have curated for Design Event, the North East Design festival which opens across the region today.
The exhibition shows 42 artworks from designers and illustrators in 14 countries, the pieces are joined together in what is effectively a visual game of Chinese whispers - each designer's piece has been influenced by the previous image.
And visitors to the exhibition will have the chance to add their own 'exquisite corpse' to the display.
Jim Richardson, managing director of Sumo, said: ‘We are pleased to have been able to bring so much international talent together for our contribution to the North East Design festival.'
Based around the theme of 'conversation', Design Event features more than 30 events including exhibitions, talks and tours in Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Durham, Gateshead and Newcastle.
