The European Design Awards took place in Athens last night, celebrating the rich diversity of creativity from across Europe.
Sumo are pleased to have won the top prize for Annual Report design for the review we produced for New Writing North, the writing development agency for the north east of England. This review beat design’s from some of the largest companies in the world to be named the best designed Annual Report in Europe.
The New Writing North Annual Review has already been recognised by the Design Week Awards, HOW Design Awards, Roses Design Awards and the Fresh Awards.
Our work was also commended in the ‘Cutlural Poster’ design category, with posters for the Durham Brass Festival and the Making Theatre conference both receiving awards of merit.
